Dharti Aaba Birsa Munda

Born on 15 November 1875 at Ulihatu (Khunti, Jharkhand), Birsa Munda united Adivasis against colonial and landlord exploitation. He led the Ulgulan (1899-1900) with the call "Abua Disum, Abua Raj". He died in Ranchi jail on 9 June 1900, aged 25. His birth anniversary is celebrated as Jharkhand Foundation Day and Janjatiya Gaurav Divas.
